The MV Isle of Lewis was nearing Greenock early this morning (Tue, April 23) for further repairs to its faulty bow visor.

The MV Isle of Mull took over on the Castlebay-Oban route yesterday after the root of the bow visor fault was traced to damage to the port lower cleat.

Last night, CalMac said, “Preparation of a full and permanent repair plan is underway, and once completed, we will be able to define an estimated repair duration. Updates will follow as more information becomes available.”

In the meantime, the MV Isle of Mull will operate a combined timetable as follows:
