  North Uist Community Church is holding women's craft afternoons for the next three days at Bethel, Lochmaddy. Monday, July 15 is decorating canvas bags, Tuesday, July 16 is billed as "from old books to flowers," while Wednesday, July 17 the activity is pebble painting.

  Women of the Hebrides book launch with author Joni Buchanan, 7 pm in Eriskay Hall. An evening of celebration hosted by Comann Eachdraidh Eirisgeidh. Joni will discuss her research and share the stories and insights that inspired her to write this book. Additionally, locals will be talking about the role of island women, their resilience and contributions to the community, offering a deeper understanding of Eriskay’s rich cultural heritage.

  UistFilm presents LIMBO at Carinish Hall at 6.30 pm for a 7 pm screening. The movie was shot in Uist and featured many well-kent local faces who will be admitted for free.
